Can i put cover versions of songs on myspace?

i am in a cover band and we have a myspace page and i would like to put some of our covers on.

they sound completely different to the original but im not sure if myspace will allow it.

if this can be done,where would i find and how would i install a music player?

I dont think you need to worry about anyone tracking you down for royalties on myspace.

Myspace will provide a system to upload the digital copy of your song onto the website allowing you to display it on your profile. You dont need any extra software for that, if I've interepreted the question correctly.

Yes, just make sure you give credit to the original writers/performers of the song(s).

And I'm not sure what you mean by music player, but if you already have your songs recorded, you just need to convert them to mp3 files and you can upload them directly to Myspace on your band profile page.
